I completed my City & Guilds in photography in 2007, majoring on black and white imaging and secured distinctions in all modules.
I had two of my images, 'Man and Boy' and 'Winter Grazing' chosen for the Joe Cornish workshop exhibition held in 2007, at the Joe Cornish gallery in Northallerton.
2013 has opened up new opportunities following my career change from civil servant to full time photographer and driving instructor. I have already undertaken portrait commissions as well as a product shoot at Windstruments music shop in Crossflatts. Over the summer I had the privilege of photographing their annual summer school held at Ashville College in Harrogate. I met several internationally acclaimed musicians as well as many gifted students attending to further their hobby or potential careers.
Gargrave village halll is hosting the autumn art and craft exhibition from the 17th to 20th October 2013 inclusive.. There will be an opportunity to view and purchase my exhibited entries together with those of many other artists and crafters.
Roland's restaurant at 398 Skipton Road, Utley, BD20 6HP shall be hosting a late summer exhibition of my photographs, commencing in the latter end of September 2013. Approximately 30 images will be on display ranging from landscapes, portraits and events. Many will be available for purchase and commissions can be discussed. I shall be present at the launch party being held on Saturday 21st September between 11am and 3pm. I shall be happy to chat with people there.
